Abstract:This paper summarizes Professor CAO Yi's experience in the treatment of post-stroke dysphagia with acupuncture.Professor CAO believes that the occurrence of dysphagia after stroke is closely related to the pathogenesis such as the obstruction of qi movement in the three jiao and the imbalance of qi circulation.Clinically, the"fascia stratified acupuncture and prick method"is adopted for treatment:Shallow puncture of the Futu acupoint(LI18)to stimulate the protective qi and regulate the qi movement;Medium prick of the Panglianquan acupoint to unblock the meridians and regulate the three jiao;Deep puncture of the Lianquan acupoint(CV23)combined with transcutaneous dense and sparse wave electrical stimulation to promote the recovery of muscle groups and internal organ functions.Fascia stratified acupuncture and prick, combining shallow, medium, and deep layers, enables the smooth flow of qi in the three jiao and the unobstructed circulation of meridians, thereby effec-tively treats post-stroke dysphagia. One test case is attached.
