Electroacupuncture Combined with Acupoint Injection for Treatment of Central Retinal Artery Occlusion with Impaired Vision in One Case

Abstract：Central retinal artery occlusion(CRAO),an acute ophthalmic condition,is caused by the blockage of the supplying artery,leading to retinal ischemia,which can result in rapid vision loss or blindness.It is commonly found in patients with obesity,hypertension,high cholesterol and diabetes.Patients with CRAO treated with electroacupuncture combined with acupoint injection shows significant improvement in the eye vision and reduction of retinal edema,which could provide a new treatment approach for CRAO.
