Abstract:Immunotherapy, one of the novel methods for treating lung cancer, has now been included in the first-level recommendations of domestic and international guidelines.Immune checkpoint inhibitor-associated pneumonia(CIP)is a pulmonary inflammatory response that occurs after the application of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs),often affecting the subsequent treatment for patients. At present, the treatment of this disease in Western medicine mainly relies on glucocorticoids and antibiotics.ICIs can be classified under the category of drug toxins. They are extreme hot in nature and play a therapeutic role of"fighting evil with toxin"in lung cancer, but they can also cause adverse reactions."Stasis toxin"are the key disease mechanism of CIP,which is a syndrome of deficient root and excessive branch.Since there are differences in patients' constitutions and original disease mechanism,ICIs would undergo transformation after entering the human body, and the resulting symptoms and syndrome types would vary greatly, with many variations. Therefore, based on the development stage of the disease, the treatment principles of clearing heat and detoxifying, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and tonifying qi and strengthening healthy qi were adopted, and in clinic good therapeutic effects were achieved.
