Abstract：Acupuncture has become a popular treatment both at home and abroad due to its simplicity,remarkable effect and mild side effects.Its immediate effectiveness is mostly judged by the patient's subjective feeling and the phenomenon of getting qi from acupuncture.Pulse diagnosis,as a characteristic diagnostic method of traditional Chinese medicine,has a unique advantage in evaluating the effectiveness of the patient's treatment through the change of pulse."Systematic syndrome differentiation pulse diagnosis acupuncture therapy"is a kind of acupuncture treatment method that closely integrates pulse diagnosis and acupuncture manipulations,in which acupuncture is applied according to the pulse diagnosis and the pulse diagnosis and acupuncture assist with each other.Compared with the traditional acupuncture treatment method,pulse diagnosis is applied as an objective basis for locating acupoints and combination of acu-points as well as the assessment of immediate therapeutic effect,and it has the advantages of accurate identification of the evidence,appropriate acupuncture points.It is of accurate syndrome differentiation,concise location of acu-point,and remarkable therapeutic effect in treating the disease,and therefore it is worthy of applying in clinic.Since there is no technical specification for the integration of pulse diagnosis and acupuncture,the promotion and innovative development for it is limited.Hence this technique specification for"systematic syndrome differentiation pulse diagnosis acupuncture therapy"is formulated,with the aim of providing diagnostic guidance and reference for clinical practitioners.
