Abstract:Coronary artery myocardial bridge refers to the situation where a certain segment of the coronary artery is surrounded and covered by myocardium during the development of the heart, and this part of the myocardium is called the myocardial bridge.People with myocardial bridges are either asymptomatic or exhibit adverse cardiovascular events such as angina, arrhythmias, and myocardial infarction.Professor CHEN Shouqiang proposes that the etiology of myocardial bridge originates from congenital endowment abnormality, with qi stagnation and blood stasis as the core of the pathogenesis.According to clinical manifestations,it is classified into asymptomatic type, type I(with chest tightness and chest pain as the main symptom),and type Ⅱ(with palpitation and palpitation with anxiety as the main symptom).Professor CHEN adheres to the fundamental therapeutic principle of promoting qi circulation and activating blood, and has established the"Ningxin Kangqiao"series of Formula("宁心康桥"系列方)based on the different types and syndromes of patients with myocardial bridge, including the Ningxin Kangqiao Formula(宁心康桥方),Formula No.1(1号方),Formula No.2(2号方),the Sleep-Inducing Formula(安眠方),the Depression Relieving Formula(解郁方),the Sweating Stopping Formula(止汗方),and the Plank-Relieving Formula(消痞方).Clinically,Professor CHEN's treatment of myocardial bridges based on type differentiation has significantly relieved patients' symptoms and achieved good clinical efficacy, providing innovative ideas and practical examples for the treatment of this disease with traditional Chinese medicine.
