Abstract：Discuss the etiology,pathogenesis and treatment strategies of premature ejaculation from three perspectives of form,qi and spirit.From the perspective of form,damp-heat,phlegm-dampness,kidney essence deficiency,and organic abnormalities,etc.are the key factors of premature ejaculation,and the treatment should follow the principle of"eliminating the causes of the disease and targetting the root causes".From the perspective of qi,factors such as stagnation of liver qi,failure of kidney qi to solidify,deficiency of heart and spleen qi,lung failing in regulating and controling,and disordered meridian qi are the internal factors leading to premature ejaculation,the treatment should follow the principle of"soothing the liver and relieving stagnation,regulating qi activity,solidifying and protecting kidney qi,nourishing the heart and spleen,and helping the lung in regulating and controlling".From the perspective of spirit,factors such as emotional disorders,disharmony between heart and kidney,and mental distraction are the fundamental causes of premature ejaculation,and the treatment should focus on"regulating emotions,maintaining the harmony between heart and kidney,and keeping spiritual introversion",which is conducive to the clinical examination of the disease to identify the causes of the disease,choose appropriate prescriptions,and provide new ideas for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of premature ejaculation,in order to better guide the clinical practice.
