Abstract：Acupuncture and moxibustion has its unique advantages in the treatment of infertility,and its neurobiological mechanism is mainly related to the regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian(HPO)axis closely.However,there are few studies that explore the mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment for infertility from the perspective of"The uterine collaterals are interconnected with the kidney system".This paper deeply analyzes the biological mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion in treating infertility from kidney,starting from the interconnections between meridian-viscera correlation theory and hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis,so as to provide a scientific basis for the application of acupuncture and moxibustion in treating diseases of reproductive system.
