Exploration on Mechanism of Acupuncture in Treatment of Chronic Gastritis Based on"Meridian-Viscera Correlation"Theory

Abstract：Chronic gastritis(CG)is one of the most common digestive diseases.At present,a large number of clinical studies have shown that acupuncture has a significant effect on chronic gastritis,which can significantly relieve the stomach discomfort of CG patients and improve their quality of life.However,there is no unified conclusion on the mechanism of acupuncture in the treatment of CG.Based on"meridian-viscera correlation"theory,this study elaborates the internal relationship between stomach fu-organs and relevant meridians,and discusses and summarizes the mechanism of acupuncture in the treatment of chronic gastritis from the perspectives of acupuncture regulation of local microenvironment of acupoints,intervention of acupuncture on stomach itself,central and peripheral pathways of acupuncture action,etc.,in order to provide reference for the future clinical research on the mechanism of acupuncture in the treatment of CG.
