Abstract：Malignant tumors,due to their high incidence and mortality rates,have become the foremost challenge threatening human health today.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)offers unique advantages in the treatment of malignant tumors,such as enhancing efficacy and reducing toxicity.Professor WANG Xinlu,adhering to the holistic concept of TCM,views malignant tumors as a local manifestation of systemic diseases.He believes that these tumors arise from the inability of the body's healthy qi to expel evil qi,leading to the accumulation of turbidity,stasis,phlegm,and toxins,ultimately forming a neoplasm.In clinical practice,he regards the balance of yin and yang as the highest guiding principle,with reinforcing healthy qi and eliminating evil qi as the core therapeutic approach.He has proposed five fundamental treatment principles:supporting and nourishing healthy qi,regulating spleen and stomach,smoothing and soothing the emotions,purifying and transforming blood turbidity,and directly attacking tumors to detoxify.
