Clinical Efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Comprehensive Therapy on Tubal Factor Infertility of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis Syndrome

Abstract：Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)comprehensive treatment in tubal factor infertility(TFI)of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.Methods:Totally 160 patients with TFI of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome were selected and divided into a control group(TCM external therapy)and an observation group(TCM comprehensive therapy)according to random number table method,with 80 patients in each group.After screening and exdusion,the statistics showed that there were 79 cases in the observation group and 76 cases in the control group.The control group was treated with the external application of Xiaozheng Powder(消癥散)combined with Chinese medicinal retention enema,acupuncture,ginger moxibustion,auricular pressure,and electromagnetic wave physiotherapy.The observation group was treated with oral administration of Xiaoyao Shukun Decoction(逍遥舒坤汤)besides therapies in the control group.Both groups were treated for three consecutive courses.The pregnancy rate,the changes in tubal patency among non-pregnant patients,improvement of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,local body signs,and pelvic pain were recorded and compared.Results:The intrauterine pregnancy rate(62.03％)and the total pregnancy rate(63.29％)of the observation group were higher than those(31.58％,28.95％)in the control group(P＜0.01).Compared with the control group,the recovery rate(17.07％)and the markedly effective rate(52.50％)of non-pregnant patients in the observation group were increased,and the total efficiency(37.00％)was increased obviously(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).After treatment,the scores for qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,local body signs,and pelvic pain in both groups were significantly reduced(P＜0.01).In the observation group scores for qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,local signs,and pelvic pain(P＜0.01)were lower than those in the control group,and the total efficiency in treating local body signs(87.34％)and pelvic pain(89.87％)was significantly increased compared to the control group,which were 77.63％,59.21％respectively(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Conclusion:In TFI of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,TCM comprehensive therapy can improve the pregnancy rate,enhance tubal patency,alleviate TCM symptoms,reduce local body signs,and relieve pelvic pain.This effect is better than that of simple TCM external therapy.
