Abstract：Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the heart and brain share the same origin of blood,and cooperatively regulate the mind,and the meridians are connected,which is closely related to the brain and heart in modern biology,so there is the theory of the simultaneous treatment of heart and brain.Post-stroke insomnia is located in the brain and closely related to the heart.Deficiency of healthy qi after brain damage,phlegm and blood stasis blocking the brain orifices is the root of the disease,and the key to the disease is that the mind is disturbed and the spirit has no attachment.The advantages of acupuncture and moxibustion in treating insomnia after stroke are prominent.Starting from the theory of simultaneous treatment of heart and brain,according to the patho-genesis characteristics of insomnia after stroke,the acupoints of heart and brain are the main acupoints in the treatment of insomnia after stroke.Baihui(GV20),Yintang(EX-HN3),Shenting(GV24)and Sishencong(EX-HN1)are mainly selected for brain regulation,and Shenmen(HT7)and Neiguan(PC6)are mainly selected for heart treatment
