Clinical Study on Yunpi Tiaotang Prescription(运脾调糖方)on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus of Spleen Deficiency and Dampness-Stasis Type

Abstract：Objective:To study the effect of Yunpi Tiaotang Prescription(运脾调糖方)on glucose and lipid metabolism of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus of spleen deficiency and dampness-stasis type and its clinical efficacy.Methods:A total of 120 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus of spleen deficiency and dampness-stasis type were divided into the control group and the observation group,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with insulin glargine,and the observation group was treated with Yunpi Tiaotang Prescription on the basis of the treatment of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes,the rate of HbA1c compliance and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment were statistically analyzed between the two groups after treatment,and the levels of glucose metabolism indexes,dynamic blood glucose fluctuation indexes,hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and lipid metabolism indexes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33％and HbA1c compliance rate reached 91.67％,while the total effective rate of the control group was 80.00％and HbA1c compliance rate reached 73.33％,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Compared with those indexes before treatment,serum fasting blood glucose(FPG)and 2h postprandial blood glucose(2 h PG),fasting insulin(FINS),HbA1c,mean blood glucose fluctuation range(MAGE),mean blood glucose level(MBG),blood glucose standard deviation(SD),hs-CRP,triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC)and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)levels were all decreased after treatment(P＜0.05).The observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).During treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of total adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Yunpi Tiaotang Prescription can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms and improve glucose and lipid metabolism of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus of spleen deficiency and dampness-stasis type,and reduce the fluctuation of blood glucose and inflammation of the body.
