Experience of YUAN Bin in Treating Neurogenic Frequent Micturition in Children

Abstract：In this paper, the clinical experience of Professor YUAN Bin in treating neurogenic frequent micturition in children was introduced through three aspects: disease cause and mechanism, treatment method and formula and proved cases. Professor YUAN Bin holds that the cause of this disease is not only the deficiency of kidney qi and bladder failing to consolidating, but also is related to spleen, lungs and liver. In clinic, three syndrome types are common: qi deficiency of spleen and kidneys, kidneys deficiency with damp heat, liver stagnation and spleen deficiency, and the treatment principle should be tonifying qi to consolidate, with the methods like invigorating spleen, tonifying lungs and consolidating kidneys as the supplementing method. For the one with damp heat pouring downward, clearing heat and draining damp should also be applied, and for the one with liver qi stagnation, soothing the liver and rectifying qi should also be applied. In clinic, the prescription should be flexible to achieve significant effect.
