Systemic Evaluation of Chronic Gastritis Treated with Fire Needle and GRADE Classification

Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the literature quality of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) or quasi-RCTs chronic gastritis treated with fire needle. Methods:The related databases were searched by computer and assisted by manual retrieval to get the literature of RCTs or quasi-RCTs. The quality evaluation was carried out according to the Cochrane handbook for systematic reviews of interventions version 4.2.8, and the metaanalysis was carried out on the homogeneity and the GRADE classification of the system results was carried out. Results:Eight RCTs were included, in which there were 3 studies on comparing fire needle with the acupuncture. In terms of efficiency, there was statistical significance [RR=1.14, 95%CI(1.04, 1.25)], indicating that acupuncture group was better than the acupuncture group. GRADE was classified as intermediate. Conclusion:From the clinical reports recently, chronic gastritis treated with fire needles showed certain effect, but more reports are needed to further prove it.
