Abstract：The incidence of irritable bowel syndrome has been increasing in recent years. Western medicine , however,lacks effective medicine. Guided by turbid toxicity theory,Professor YANG Qian summarizes the rich experience and proposes that turbid toxicity is the material base for constipation-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-C) and the key link in treatment. Professor YANG has invented Mazhi Jiangzhuo formula for IBS-C,with clinically significant effect.
