Abstract：Professor Wang Xu holds that for hyperthyroidism,the cause is abnormal emotions,which leads to disorder of qi activity and qi stagnation inside,and after long time,further transforming into heat and fire to condense fluids into phlegm,finally phlegm and heat inter-binding with each other. The major cause is ab-normal emotion,the core disease mechanism is depressed heat damaging yin,while phlegm,heat and blood stasis are the major pathological factors. In clinic,disease should be treated according the disease condition at different stage. Also there is the case analysis.
