Systematic Evaluation of the Effect of Electroacupuncture Combined with Western Medicine on Neurogenic Bladder

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture combined with western medicine on neurogenic bladder. Methods:The databases of PubMed,EBSCO ASP/BSP,CNKI and Wanfang Data from 2001 to 2016 were searched with computer,and RevMan 5.3 was applied for statistical analysis. Results:There were 12 articles meeting the inclusion criteria,including 816 subjects. The treatment effect,residual urine volume,urination frequency,urine volume and bladder volume were compared,and it was concluded that patients treated with electroacupuncture combined with western medicine were better than those in the con-trol group. Conclusion:Electroacupuncture combined with western medicine to treat neurogenic bladder shows certain advantages.
