Clinical Experience of Professor LIN Guohua Applying Acupuncture Principle from Internal Canon to Treat Tinnitus and Deafness

Abstract：Tinnitus and deafness are common disease clinically ,and currently is incurable. Professor LIN Guohua has unique experience on the treatment of tinnitus and deafness,and inspired by "Fa Meng" acupunc-ture manipulation derived from The Yellow Emperor's Internal Canon,he invented Fa Meng acupuncture. For selecting acu-points,channels and collaterals pattern differentiation was applied,in combination with zang-fu pattern differentiation and point identification for symptoms. This manipulation could not only treat the tinni-tus,the branch,and also could treat disease cause,the root,to avoid recurrence. Besides,electro-acupuncture and fire acupuncture were also applied for de-qi. By this method,satisfactory effect was obtained.
