Abstract:Objective:To investigate the influence on posterior cerebral artery (PCA) blood velocity in healthy young people during needling left KI 2. Method:Randomly 60 healthy young volunteers,30 men and 30 women, were selected. KI 2 on the left was needled, and the Vs,Vd,Vm,PI,RI of the bilateral PCA were recorded with transcranial Doppler(TCD) at the point of 5 minutes before acupuncturing, during inserting the needle, needle retention for 1 hr and 2 hr,during lifting the needle, and 5 minutes after lifting the needle. Result:In the needling the left KI 2,compared with 5 minutes before needling, the Vs of the left side of the PCA at the needle retention of 30 minutes was statistically different(P<0.05);the Vs of the right side of the PCA at the needle retention 1 hr and 2 hr were also statistically different ( P<0 . 05 ) . Conclusion:Needling left KI 2 could reduce the systolic maximum blood flow velocity of PCA ,with negative adjustment function.
