Study on the Clinical Efficacy of Yanzhao Gaoshi Tiaodu Tongluo Acupuncture on Primary Headaches

Abstract：Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of Yanzhao Gaoshi Tiaodu Tongluo acupuncture on prima-ry headache. Methods:Eighty patients with primary headache were randomly divided into two groups ,40 pa-tients in each group. In the treatment group ,patients were given Yanzhao Gaoshi Tiaodu TongLuo acupunc-ture,while in the control group patients were given conventional acupuncture. Visual analogue scale (VAS) were applied to evaluate the degree of headache before and after of the treatment ,and the treatment effect was compared. Results:In two groups after treatment VAS score significantly decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and in the treatment group,VAS scores reduced more significantly than that in the control group(P<0.05). However,there was no significant difference between two groups on effective rate(P>0.05). Conclusion:Two methods both have good effect on primary headaches ,and Yanzhao Gaoshi Tiaodu Tongluo acupuncture have better,but there was no significant difference between two methods on clinical efficacy.
