Experience of CAI Miaoshan in Treatment of Urinary Calculi

Abstract：Professor CAI Miaoshan thinks that the root cause of urinary calculi is qi deficiency of the spleen and the kidney,and the damp-heat,qi stagnation and blood stasis are the problems caused by the root cause. Professor CAI often uses methods of clearing heat and removing dampness ,unblocking collateral and tonifying to treat the disease. The Jin Shi Shao Ling decoction,created by professor CAI,mixes the three methods together and has good curative efficacy. At the same time ,professor CAI usually combines the above methods with acupuncture,acupoint injection,total offensive therapy and comprehensive therapy,which can shorten the treatment cycle,speed up the discharge of calculi,especially the discharge of large and middle size stones,and the curative efficacy is significant
