Analysis of Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease from Blood

Abstract：This paper explores the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) from the close relationship between qi and blood,and the relationship between the lung and other organs. It is believed that the lung is the governor of qi ,the generation and transportation of blood are also closely related with the lung. The main pathogenesis of COPD is the deficiency of the lung and the kidney which causes the accumulation of phlegm,turbid and blood stasis. The key pathogenesis is associated with the pathological changes of blood. Therefore,we should pay attention to treating blood. Based on syndrome differentiation,methods like promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis,nourishing yin to resolve phlegm,benefiting qi and promoting blood circulation,tonifying the lung to enhance the root and activating yang to unlock the collaterals can be used.
