Observation of Clinical Effect of Psychosomatic Treatment on Ankylosing Spondylitis Complicated with Depression

Abstract：Objective:To observe the clinical effect of treating ankylosing spondylitis (AS) complicated with depression by psychosomatic treatment. Methods:There were 60 patients with AS complicated with depression randomly divided into observation group and control group ,30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with du-moxibustion and psychological intervention ,while the control group were only treated with du-moxibustion. After the treatment,the effectiveness for AS and depression was observed and compared be-tween the two groups. Results:In the observation group,total effectiveness for AS and depression were 93.3%and 86.7%,respectively,while in the control group,it was 86.7% and 56.7%,respectively,with statistical differ-ence between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion:Du-moxibustion in combination with psychological treat-ment can effectively relieve the depression syndrome to improve the clinical effectiveness for AS.
