Observation of the Effect of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on Unstable Angina Pectoris

Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine on unstable angina pectoris. Methods:Sixty cases of patients with unstable angina pectoris by simple randomiza-tion methods are divided into two groups. The control group only received conventional western medicine treatment,the treatment group on the basis of conventional western medicine ,took Buyang Huanwu decotion every morning and evening. The improvements of symptoms of angina pectoris in the two groups were com-pared and scored according to TCM symptom scores. Results:In the aspect of improvement of angina pec-toris,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0% and that of the control group was 66.6%(P<0.05). The total curative effect of TCM syndrome,total effectiveness in the treatment group was 90.0%,the total effective rate in the control group was 70.0%(P<0.05),which indicated TCM symptoms were improved in the treatment group better than those in the control group;in the improvements of TCM symptoms of chest pain,chest tightness,shortness of breath,fatigue in patients in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05),there is a significant difference in the comparison of treatment;after treatment,hs-CRP and IL-6 in the two groups were statistically significant differences. There were significant differences after treatment between the two groups of serum hs-CRP,IL-6 decreased(P<0.05),the observa tion group in reducing blood Hs-CRP and IL-6 were better than those in control group. Conclusion:The tra-ditional Chinese medicine Buyang Huanwu decoction has certain curative effect on the treatment of unstable angina pectoris(five).
