LIU Yanchi's Experience in Differentiation and Treatment of IgA Nephropathy

Abstract：In LIU Yanchi's opinion,the pathogenesis of IgA nephropathy is root deficiency and branch excess and the four key factors induced the disease are weakness,dampness,stasis and wind.According to the four factors,the principles for treating IgA nephropathy should be supplementing the deficiency,draining the dampness,removing the stasis and stopping the wind.This article uses the prescription methodology of traditional Chinese medicine to analyze LIU's ideas in treating IgA nephropathy,showing how he links up the theory,method,prescription and medicine.It will provide some reference for clinical treatment of IgA nephropathy.
