Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of massage combined with transcranial magnetic stimulation on insomnia after cerebral apoplexy. Methods:A total of 60 patients with insomnia after cerebral apoplexy were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group was given massage combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation to stimulate the meridians and acupoints on the head. The control group was given estazolam tablets. After two courses of treatment, the changes of Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI) score and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and the curative effects were compared. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.3% and the control group was 90.0%.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The PSQI scores of the two groups was decreased after treatment, which were statistically different from those before treatment(P<0.05),but the difference between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The curative effect of massage combined with transcranial magnetic stimulation on insomnia after cerebral apoplexy was similiar to that of estazolam tablets, but the former had less adverse reactions.
