Abstract：In the treatment of facial spasm,Prof. CAI Shengchao emphasizes the wholism and syndrome dif-ferentiation,and classified this disease into two types wind invading collaterals type and blood deficiency with wind stirring type,and treats with shallow needling,and put forward the principle "regulating,tonifying, extinguish wind,unknotting tendon". This manipulation is unique and the curative effect is remarkable.
