Clinical Study of Using Huayu Jiedu Drink Combined with Narrow Band Ultraviolet to Treat Plaque Psoriasis

Abstract：Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Huayu Jiedu Drink combined with narrow band ul-traviolet in treating plaque psoriasis,and to analyze its regulating effect on lymphocyte subset in peripheral blood. Methods: Patients were divided into two groups randomly. The observation group(39 cases) was treat-ed with narrow band ultraviolet and Huayu Jiedu Drink,and the control group(36 cases) was treated with narrow band ultraviolet alone. Results:Compared with the control group,the psoriasis area and psoriasis severity index(PASI) score of the treatment group were significantly reduced (P<0.01). The effective rate in the treatment group was 94.9%,while it was 77.8% in the control group,with statistical difference (P<0.05). The dermatology life quality index score was increased in both groups,but in the treatment group it was better than that in the control group(P<0.01). Compared with the control group,the number of CD4+T lymphocyte and and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ significantly decreased (P<0.05),while the number of CD8+T lymphocyte significantly decreased (P<0.05) in the treatment group. Conclusion:Huayu Jiedu Drink com-bined with narrow band ultraviolet could treat plaque psoriasis effectively,significantly improve life quality, prolong the period between recurrence,and regulate the immune level.
