Clinical Study of Using Diankuang Mengxing Decoction Combined with Psychotherapy to Treat Minimal Hepatic Encephalopathy

Abstract：Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Diankuang Mengxing decoction combined with psy-chotherapy in the treatment of mild hepatic encephalopathy. Methods:Eighty patients with mild hepatic en-cephalopathy were randomly divided into treatment group and control group ,40 cases in each group. The control group was given oral administration of Chinese herbal medicine ,Diankuang Mengxing decoction based on the control group,each time 100 mL,2 times a day,combined with psychotherapy. And the control group was given oral administration of lactulose oral solution , each time 30 mL , 3 times a day . The changes of electroencephalo graph(EEG),blood ammonia,NCT,DST and auditory event-related potential P300 were mea-sured after 10 weeks of treatment. Results:There were significant differences in EEG,blood ammonia,NCT, DST and auditory event potential P300 between the treatment group and the control group (P>0.05). Conclu-sion:The combination of Diankuang Mengxing decoction and psychotherapy has a certain therapeutic effect on mild hepatic encephalopathy with mild adverse reaction.
