Clinical Medication Law of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion Treated with Pingle Bonesetting

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the clinical medication law of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion treated with Pingle bonesetting. Methods:There were 325 effective prescriptions since 2009 to 2014 for treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion,which were checked,proofread and input into the Pingle bonesetting traditional medicine data platform,and the herbal category,frequency,tropism and effect were analyzed. Re-sults:After analysis,there were 3286 herb counts,and 325 prescriptions,including 98 herbs. The herbs with high frequency were herbs for tonifying,invigorating blood and resolving stasis,promoting urination and re-solving edema,dispelling wind and removing stasis,releasing exterior,calming the liver,extinguishing wind and relieving spasm,and the frequency was 100%,100%,54.56%,43.71%,40.21% and 39.07%,respectively. There were 37 key herbs,such as Huang qi,Dangshen and Fuling. Conclusion:The medical principles and laws of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion treated by Pingle bonesetting embody the thoughts of "tonifying healthy qi to remove evil qi",the overall syndrome differentiation ,as well as "treating from the liver" and "the liver and kidneys sharing the same origin".
