Study on the Grub Extract against Intestinal EV-71 Virus

Abstract：Objective:Solvents of different polarity were used to extract grubs and the inhibitory effects of the extract on the intestinal EV-71 virus was studied,to further isolate the effective constituents. Methods:Dis-tilled water,75% ethanol,ethyl acetate were used to extract grubs. The supernatant and precipitant of the water extraction and alcohol precipitation and alcohol extraction and water precipitation were used to perform experiment of inhibiting intestinal EV-71 virus. According to the experimental results ,the precipitant of water extraction and alcohol precipitation was further separated through macroporous resin adsorption. Results:The precipitant of grub from water extraction alcohol precipitation showed inhibiting effect on intestinal EV-71 virus with TI=94.15;after macroporous resin adsorption,water part 1 showed the strongest antiviral effect with TI=118.93. Conclusion:Precipitant of grub extraction from alcohol precipitation showed strong effect of in-hibiting intestinal EV-71 viruse.
