Abstract：Professor FENG Shilun understands Fuling decoction from Arcane Essentials from the Imperial Li-brary through formula and syndrome relationships. He proposes that using this formula should be based on differentiating Taiyin and recognizing formula and syndrome. Not to be limited by the original decoction ,he uses this formula with other formula or modified through correspondence of formula and syndrome or corre-spondence of herb and syndrome. This formula is usually applied to treat gastritis and enteritis which are regarded as stuffiness and fullness,diarrhea in traditional Chinese medicine.
