Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of pricking Sifeng(EX-UE10) to treat infantile anorexia and the effects on trace elements of the body. Methods:There were 83 patients meeting with the criteria randomly being divided into treatment group(41) and control group(42). The treatment group was treated with pricking Sifeng points, and the control group was given oral administration of Chinese herbs. Clinical symptom integration score and the change of the trace elements were the observation indexes. The clinical efficacy of two groups were evaluated after 2 weeks. Results:After the treatment,in the treatment group, total symptom integration score were lower than that in the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05). In the treatment group before and after treatment, changes of zinc and iron contents were statistical significant (P<0.05),after treatment,in the treatment group, cure rate was 36.59%,while in the control group, cure rate was 9.52%,with statistical singnificance(P<0.05). Conclusion:Pricking Sifeng to treat infantile anorexia could increase the contents of zinc and iron in the body, improve the appetite to relieve anorexia.
