Experience on Treating Deficient Abdominal Lump by JIANG Yangqing

Abstract：JIANG Yangqing holds that the formation of deficient abdominal lump depends on the state of middle Qi. Once the middle Qi becomes deficient ,it could not promote Qi circulation ,leading to Qi stagna-tion and manifesting as abdominal mass. The treatment should be tonifying middle Qi with some pungent herbs to unblock,which should be of low dosage. In clinic,deficient abdominal lump should be differentiated to determine syndrome types,including Qi deficiency of spleen and stomach,spleen Yang deficiency,stomach Yin deficiency,and so on.
