Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory and Treatment on Myopia

Abstract：The cause and mechanism of myopia were discussed in this paper. The mechanism of myopia in the children and the youth is that kidney Yang deficiency and blockage of channel Qi lead to unsmooth ra-diation of spirit light,and therefore the treatment should be warming kidney and tonifying essence,unblocking the channel Qi,and promoting radiation of spirit light. Kidney Yang and channel Qi play an important role in the myopia in the children and the youth.
