Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Dingjing pill combined with risperidone on schizophrenia of phlegm-fire disturbance syndrome. Methods:A total of 100 patients with schizophrenia of phlegm-fire disturbance syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group ,with 50 cas-es in each group. The treatment group was treated by Dingjing pill combined with risperidone and the con-trol group was only treated by risperidone. One course lasted for 1 week and the treatment lasted for 8 courses. The scores of the positive and negative symptoms scale(PANSS) and adverse reactions of the two groups before and after treatment were compared and clinical curative effects were evaluated. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.9% and that of the control group was 83.7%. The difference of curative effect between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The PANSS scores of the two groups were obviously lower than those before treatment and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The total score, positive symptom score and general score of the treatment group was better than those of the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that of the control group. Conclusion:Dingjing pill combined with risperidone has definite curative effect on schizophrenia of phlegm-fire disturbance syn-drome. It has less adverse reactions and is easy for patients to accept.
