Analysis on Medication Rules of Prescriptions for Primary Dysmenorrhea by Traditional Chinese Medicine Inherritance System

Abstract：Objective:Using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) inherritance system to analysis the composing and medication rules of the prescriptions for primary dysmenorrhea. Methods:Selecting the prescriptions for primary dysmenorrhea in the literatures of CNKI from 1985 to 2014 ,and then put them into the TCM in-herritance system(V2.1),analysising the frequency of drug application,prescription composing rules,core com-binations and the new prescription. Results:Based on the analysis of 55 prescriptions,angelica sinensis was used with the highest frequency(45 times) and 18 core combinations and 9 new prescriptions were found. Conclusion:The medication rules of the prescriptions for primary dysmennorrhea were analyzed and expound-ed by TCM inherritance system,and the new prescriptions provide basis for treatment of primary dysmenor-rhea by traditional Chinese medicine.
