82 Cases of Superficial Thrombophlebitis Treated with Simiao Yongan Decoction

Abstract：Objective:To observe the effect of the traditional Chinese medicine formula Simiao Yongan decoc-tion on inflammatory factors in patients with superficial thrombophlebitis and its clinical curative results. Methods:Eighty two cases of patients with superficial thrombophlebitis were randomly divided into treatment group(42 cases) and control group(40 cases). The treatment group took oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine formula and the control group took Chuanwang Xiaoyan tablet orally. Results:After the treatment,TNF level of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the level of IL-10 was higher than that of the control group ( P<0 . 05);the cure rate of the treatment group was 52.38%,and the total effective rate was 100%;the cure rate of the control group was 25%,and the total ef-fective rate was 90%. The difference between the two groups on the cure rates and total effective rates were of statistical significance,(P<0.05). Conclusion:Simiao Yongan decoction can inhibit the inflammatory reac-tion,with satisfactory curative effects on superficial thrombophlebitis.
