Abstract:Objective:To study the clinical effect of Qingbu therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of post-traumatic systemic inflammatory response syndrome. Methods:Forty-eight systemic inflamma-tory response syndrome cases were divided randomly into control group(n=24) and treatment group(n=24). Treatments including treating primary lesion,anti-shock,oxygen therapy, infection prevention, hemostasis, and other necessary supportive measures were administrated in the control group, while,Qingbu formulas were ad-ministrated through gavage in treatment group besides the treatment in the control group. On the 1st day, 3rd day,5th day and 7th day, vital signs were recorded, and blood PCT,IL-6 and IL-8 level were detected. Results:Compared with the control group(45.83%),the effectiveness increased significantly in the treatment group(66.67%)(P<0.05). On the 1st day and 3rd day treatment, plasma PCT,IL-6 and IL-8 level were of no significant differences, but on the 5th day and 7th day, plasma PCT,IL-6 and IL-8 level decreased signif-icantly(P<0.05). Conclusions:Qingbu therapy of traditional Chinese medicine could contribute to reducing blood cell inflammatory factors level, and thus it relieve the post-traumatic systemic inflammatory response and improve clinical efficacy.
