Primary Experience of SHAN Zhaowei in Application of Chinese Medicine Taken as Tea

Abstract：Chinese medicine taken as tea is a formula for preventing and treating disease. It is the decoc-tion got by brewing Chinese herbal medicine with boiling water or boiling Chinese herbal medicine with wa-ter. The decoction should be taken frequently. Professor SHAN Zhaowei like treating diseases with Chinese medicine taken as tea ,because the tea can preserve the property and lighten the flavor of the medicine. This paper introduces the prescriptions frequently used by SHAN Zhaowei ,including Jiawei Liansu decoction , Yiqi Yangying prescription ,Koudan prescription ,tea prescription for hyperlipemia and hypertension ,tea pre-scription for facial acne. The medicine application experience was summarized from the following aspects:medicine components,effect,range of application and modification.
