Abstract:Objective:To discuss the effect of herbs promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis of Chinese traditional medicine for the expression of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and glutathione(GSH) in rats’ lung tissue with Pulmonary fibrosis which induced by bleomycin. Methods:32 SPF SD rats were divided into control group, model group,Chinese herbs group and prednisone group randomly,8 rats for each group. Bleomycin was instillated into intratracheal to make rat model of pulmonary fibrosis. The control group was given physiological saline by gavage, the Chinese herbs group were given Danshen,Chuanxiong decoctio, and the rednisone group were given Prednisone after 2 days later. All the rats were sacrificed after 28 days ,and observed the pathological changes of lung tissue under the microscope, determinate SOD,GSH level in serum by chemiluminescence, the expression. Results:The content of SOD of the model group is less than those of other three groups(P<0.01). The Content of SOD in Chinese herbs group has no statistical difference com-pare with the control group and the prednisone group (P>0.05);The content of GSH of the model group re duce than those of other three groups(P<0.01);the Chinese herbs group and the prednisone group reduce than the control group(P<0.01). Conclusions:Promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis herbs of traditional Chinese medicine can improve pulmonary fibrosis model of rat serum SOD and GSH ,induce alve-olitis and pulmonary fibrosis degree.
