Literature Analysis on the Advantage of Combining the Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western Medicine in the Treatment of Depression

Abstract：Objective:To analysis the advantage of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine and Chinese medicine treatment of depression through the literature. Methods:To collect randomized controlled trials of combine traditional Chinese and western medicine ,Chinese medicine with pure western medicine treatment of depression by computer retrieval of Chinese biomedical literature database ,Chinese Citation Database,the Tsinghua Tongfang CNKI database as well as reference for other documents,filtering the litera-ture according to the inclusion criteria,and analyze the data. Results:There are 110 literatures about ran-domized controlled trials that include 9 390 cases of patients. The efficiency of experimental group is signifi-cantly increased,and the adverse reaction is significantly lower by analyzing the data. Conclusion:It shows that the combine traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of depression is better than pure west-ern medicine curative effect,less adverse reaction,and the curative effect is better than that of Chinese medicine.
