Differentiation and Treatment of Ischemic Cerebrovascular Disease Based on Phlegm and Blood Stasis

Abstract：The relationship between phlegm and blood stasis and ischemic cerebrovascular disease (ICVD) were discussed through the study of Chinese ancient and modern literature clinical summary. It has been discovered orifices confused by phlegm is the basis of the pathogenesis of ICVD,and blood stasis obstructing the collaterals is the core to the pathogenesis of ICVD. Intermin-gled phlegm and blood stasis,obstructing the collaterals is the key pathological mechanism of ICVD. Removing phlegm and blood-stasis together is thera-peutic focus of ICVD.
