Effect of Diet and Body Weight of Model Rat with Diarrhea-predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome Treated by Herb-Partition Moxibustion on the Navel

Abstract：Objective:observing the effect of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D) model rats on the diet and body weight by the method of herb-partition moxibustion on the navel. Methods:Thirty IBS-D model rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: normal group,model group and medicine separated moxibustion group,10 rats in each group were compared. Results:In terms of the number of diet and growth rate of body weight,the model group was lower than the normal group(P<0.05),and the group of herb-parti-tion moxibustion on the navel and the normal group were no difference(P>0.05),and the group of herb-par-tition moxibustion on the navel was higher than the model group (P<0.05). Conclusion:the number of diet and growth of body weight in the group of herb-partition moxibustion on the navel were significantly im-proved.
