Application of Enzyme Engineering Technology in Extraction of Chinese Medicine

Abstract：The enzymatic hydrolysis mechanism and application of enzymatic method in extraction of Chinese medicine were reviewed. Enzymes such as cellulase ,pectinase and papain can destruct the cell walls of plants,which makes the extraction of effective constituents become easier,so they were widely applied in ex-traction of Chinese medicine. The application of enzymatic method in the extraction of polysaccharide, flavone,alkaloid,terpenoids,protein,peptides,oils and organic acids were described respectively. The enzymatic method was applied in extraction of Chinese medicine in combination with new technology. The existing problems and the prospect of enzymatic method in extraction of Chinese medicine were also analyzed.
