Systematic Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Reducing Blood Glucose of Type 2 Dia-betes Treated by Danzhi Jiangtang Capsule

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the reducing blood glucose efficacy of Danzhi Jiangtang Capsule treating type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods:Randomized controlled trials were electronically retrieved from CBM ,CN-KI,Wanfang database,and so on. All studies were assessed according to the Cochrane Handbook for System-atic Reviews of interventions and then effective data were analyzed by RevMan 5.2 soft ware. Results:Ten randomized controlled trials involving 584 patients were included. Results of Meta-analysis showed that there was statistical difference in the Fasting plasma glucose [SMD =0.96,95% CI (0.50,1.43),P<0.01],2 h Post-prandial blood glucose [SMD=0.64,95% CI (0.47,0.81),P<0.01],Hemoglobin A1c [SMD =0.38,95% CI (0.22,0.54),P<0.01]. Conclusion:Danzhi Jiangtang Capsule treating type 2 diabetes mellitus is efficacy.
