Determination of Content of Tanshinone IIA in Danxiang Capsule

Abstract：Objective:To establish quality standards of Danxiang capsule. Method:The content of tanshinone IIA in Danxiang capsule was determined by reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). Result:when the sample size of tanshinone IIA was in the range of 0.0566 to 0.4528μg,the linear relation-ship was good. The average recovery rate was 99.83%. Conclusion:The quantitative determination made by RP-HPLC was accurate,specific,sensitive and repeatable. It can be used for the quality control of Danxiang capsule.
