Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of integrated treatment of Chinese and western medicine on age-related acute myelogenous leukemia ( AML ) . Methods:26 patients with age-related acute myelogenous leukemia were randomly divided into qi-benefiting and heat-clearing formula plus decitabine group(treatment group) and decitabine group(control group). The clinical curative effect and adverse reac tions of the two groups were observed. Result:The completely relieving rate of treatment group was lower than that of the control group and the effective rate was higher than that of the control group. There was no significant difference between the curative effect of the two groups (P>0.05). The significantly effective rate and total effective rate of TCM syndrome improvement of treatment group were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence rate of infection ,mouth ulcer and vomiting of the treatment group were significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:qi-benefiting and heat-clear-ing formula combined with decitabine was effective on age-related AML. Chinese medicine can effectively re-duce the adverse reaction caused by decitabine.
