Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of taction and Sudden extertion manipulation of lying po-sition on nerve-root cervical spondylopathy and its influence on conduction velocity of electromyography F wave. Methods:88 patients with nerve-root cervical spondylopathy were randomly divided into research group and control group. The research group was given taction and Sudden extertion manipulation of lying position and the control group was given mechanical traction treatment of sitting position. After 2 courses of treat-ment,the clinical curative effect and conduction velocity of electromyography F wave of the two groups were observed. Results:The total curative effect of the research group was better than that of the control group and the conduction velocity of electromyography F wave of the research group was faster than that of the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:Traction and Sudden exter-tion manipulation of lying position has definite curative effect on nerve-root cervical spondylopathy. It is safe and reliable.
