Discussion on Several Questions about Blood and Mai

Abstract：Mai is the house of blood and it has its body and function. Vessel is the body of Mai. It in-cludes artery,vein and capillary. Body of Mai includes yin and yang:artery belongs to yang and vein be-longs to yin;capillaries go in and out,up and down,which is between yin and yang,so capillaries also in-clude yin capillary and yang capillary. Mai can cover blood and it works well when it is unobstructed. Qi , blood,yin and yang all go in it. Besides,Mai has the function of qi transformation. It can transport spirit, body fluid and turbid. Therefore,it is necessary to attach importance to the study of structure and function of blood and Mai. Fully understanding of the lesion of body of Mai and positive respond to it are important measures for reducing harm of chronic diseases.
